At this time, BrainTumorBeware.org, Inc. has not established tax exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The corporation is taking action to achieve that status and intends to act in accordance with the provisions of that code. If you care to donate money and want your donation to be tax exempt, we urge you to give directly to the Oligo Fund at the Musella Foundation. Simply put, this organization has been created in an effort to improve the quality and extend the lives of people suffering from brain tumors. It is driven by the desire of a father to help his daughter and it is reinforced by the will of many others who share similar desires. There is a large and diverse community of people affected by brain tumors. They come from all walks of life and are spread out widely across the globe. Their willingness to help one another and determination to beat this cancer is awe inspiring. As an individual, one feels frustrated by the lack of power one has to wield against an enemy as devious and unrelenting as a brain tumor. Some people want to discover what causes these tumors, others want to know why it has happened to them. One thing they all have in common is that they want to find a cure. There are doctors doing amazing experiments today that are helping to unravel the mysteries that have for so long hidden the keys needed to cure brain tumors. This same quest is taking place in many other branches of medical science at the same time. Resources are not limitless and the only way to guarantee that research continues on brain tumors is to guarantee the supply of resources needed to sustain that research. BrainTumorBeware.org has been created to act as a vehicle through which the brain tumor community can channel its frustration into productive activities that will generate resources to be used by brain tumor researchers. It will attempt to direct generous donors to sites where they can make a donation and it will sponsor activities that directly solicit money to be used to support research. Regardless of the methods used, this organization will focus on assuring those who care to support brain tumor research that their support will go directly to its intended destination. The organization's goal is to get as much money as possible into the hands of responsible researchers as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thank you so much for visiting this site |
